We should discipline ourselves to operate exclusively from moral motives. As Martin Luther King wrote in “Nonviolence: The only road to freedom,” civil disobedience only works when it is “organized around well defined issues” The people taking on such issues that truly matter should be commended, it is imparitive through our individual channels of communication we spread awareness.
