“MoShadee derived from my real name. I took “Mo”, from my first name Maurice. Shadee came from my middle name. I didn’t want to have a ridiculous stage name because I feel that’s putting yourself into a character. That’s what I feel separates me from the majority of artists today. I completely stand behind everything in my music. I had to have something from my actual name to show people it’s really me. I’m from the state of New Jersey. I grew up in Bloomfield, moved to Newark at 16. I like to say I’ve seen “both sides” meaning the suburbs to which most would consider one of the most “hood” cities on the east coast. I pretty much embody that aspect. I took a bit of inspiration from both areas and molded it into one. That one being me. I can say it reflects through my sound. I’ve had this vision to pursue music and entertainment since elementary. I had my first show when I was in sixth grade. Towards the end of 2008 is when I decided to take matters serious and put things in motion. I haven’t stopped trekking since”.-Moshadee

A few days ago i happen to get a chance to roll through skate retail store ALIS originally based out of Copenhagen Denmark. They carry some of my favorites like brand Creature boards and Altamont.
2. So your from Carson, California, is it everything Antwuan (Dixon) says its like?
- Hmmmmmm pretty much. He grew up on one side and I grew up on the other side so it’s different in some ways but similar in some also.
3. Stairs or rails and why?
- Stairs because I’m more comfortable jumping down some stairs then down a rail. Although occasionally I will skate a rail.
4. What plays in your Ipod these days. And tell me.. why Jeezy over Gucci?
Lately I’ve been downloading alot of mixtapes and such. I prefer Jeezy’s beats and lyrics over Gucci’s. Although I’m listening to a Gucci song as I type this hahaha.
5. Whats a favorite quote you ever probably posted or seen on Twitter?
- Good question. I’ve seen alot and it’s hard to pick just one.
7. Top 3 favorite UVT graphics..Any season of choice?
- My season of choice would probably be Fall 2010 because it has all the freshest gear. My favorite 3 UVT graphics would be Off With Their Heads, Riot Squad, and the La Guerra Clandestina.
8. Who are you shreddin with these days?
-Lately I’ve been skating with Jake, Cameron, and Cooper. But you can always catch me with the homies at Veterans’ Skatepark in Carson or Cherry park in Long Beach.
9. If you had a choice what board brand would you be riding for and why?
-Either Almost or BLVD because they have good boards, a good team, and I got some homies that ride for them.
10. So whats your plans for the near future?
- Man, just to keep living life. Continue going to college and skate. Hopefully finish up this Rip Clip and my TKE THT 2 video part also.
Couple days ago me and the homie strolled through his job at retail store STEEZ located in downtown Oslo for a quick visit. very nice store and right next door to a smoothie spot. The store was cool and had some of my fav skate brands like ANTI HERO and Baker Brand products.
Got a chance to hang out and stroll by my homie Daniels job at skate and snow retail store Swag. His store location is a little outside the city we stay in so this was actually my first time using public transportation on my own while in Norway. Swag carries some familiar American brands like Analog, Gravis, and Burton snow. They have a pretty sick skate team going on too.
Last Saturday we got invited to an late Halloween bash in celebration of good friends and good times. Here’s a few photos on how it all went down and a peep on how Norway parties. Photos by Denise.
Last night i got a chance to stroll by one of Oslo’s premiere boutiques STRESS, which carries brand names like Carhartt, Stussy and Norce Project. We also met up with one of our friends who happens to manage this location then continued the trip to the local mall and finished to a lovely dinner. Such a good night.
I got introduced to this group by my counterpart CL from southern California FamxBiz (family buisness) and couldnt help but notice the inspiration I get from young individuals on their thrive to greatness all from their own creations, its pretty cool. The group FamxBiz has put togather their Sophmore project ‘Hardwork&Hennessy’. One quick introduction and I instantly became a fan and it didnt hurt that the group also resides in the same area as me. Make sure to give this young group a listen and you might just enjoy it as much as i did. Fyi.. my single of choice ‘across the room’.
Check out my good friend Rob Roy recently rocking our previous US VERSUS THEM x BLCK-SCVLE collab t-shirt while in Chicago IL Lincoln Hall show with the likes of NINJASONIK and Hollywood Holt. Rob Roy is a musical talent which style can classify as Rap/Punk/Blues/Soul and is personally influenced by Rap group OutKast. Also be sure to keep up with his current shows and tour dates at this link here.

Here are some flicks from the homie Torey Pudwell’s previous signature shoe realese party. More photos available at Diamond.
I have many friends and family across the world and it’s always a pleasure to be able to view their experiences and environments through photography. Another plus is to be able to showcase their adventures and sightseeing to the rest of the world. In this post we travel to (LUND) Sweden also the oldest city in currrent Sweden which is believed to be founded around 990 and also the home of LUND University established in 1666 which today is one of Scandinavias largest institutions for education and research. The architecture is amazing and these photos really capture LUND’s beauty. I plan on visiting the country really soon and bringing back my own memories to share with you but for now a natives point of view will do just fine. So from Sweden with love.. Enjoy. photos by lala.
